At Lidl we are keen to promote good eye care and we offer regular, fully paid, eye tests to those employees who daily use a computer monitor as part of their job.

In order to provide the best service to our customers, our busier stores operate 24 hours a day. In recognition of this, we pay an additional allowance which starts from €3 per hour for the hours worked between midnight and 5am.

Where possible, our aim is to provide employees with the flexibility to get a good balance between their home life and work. Employees working at Head Office will have the option to work some shifts from home to help them achieve this balance.
