Lidl Malta opened the doors of its first stores in 2008 and has grown to be the leading supermarket chain on the Maltese islands. Over the years the company expanded even further and now counts a total of 12 stores, one of which is in Gozo, and opened a new Logistics Center in Burmarrad. This year, Lidl Malta has also been awarded the Top Employer certification for the since 2019 which confirms that the company is committed to offering the best working environment by placing people at the center of its operations.
