The objective of the position is to contribute to the improvement of the inventory result, through the correct application of the corporate directives on Inventory Protection and support operations in control activities. What you'll do
As an inventory controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, tracking inventory movements, and ensuring that all inventory transactions are properly recorded in our systems.
In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business operations run smoothly and efficiently, working closely with our sales and logistics teams.
- Pre and post inventory analysis of sales data
- Application of the company directives of Inventory Safeguard and support to the operations during the inventories in the store
- Development of reporting and inventory analysis
- Development of corrective actions and interventions aimed at improving the inventory result
- Support to stores for monitoring quantities and out of stock
- Support the sales and logistics department also through visits to the shops, to collect requests and suggestions, helping to identify problems and develop corrective measures for inventory protection activities
- At the request of managers, preparation of presentations and documents related to inventory projects, including training material
- Support managers in defining training needs, the related typology and in the identification of useful tools for measuring effectiveness
- Support the development of corrective actions and interventions aimed at improving the inventory result
- Propose practical solutions to managers aimed at optimizing projects under their responsibility
What you'll need
- Degree in economics, statistics or engineering would be considered an asset
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
- Fluent in English language
- Knowledge of Italian language would be considered an asset
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent relational and analytical skills
- Flexibility and eye to detail
- Capable of working on own initiative and in a team environment
- In possession of a valid car driving license
