Will I receive a feedback even if my application does not meet the requirements?
Our recruiting team carefully reviews each application and makes everything possible to send a feedback via mail after three weeks tops. After the application is sent, it is possible to edit, delete and send new ones by accessing your profile page with the credentials sent to your email account when registered. In case the application does not match our requirements and needs, still, you will be contacted by our recruiting team through an email.
I would like to apply for a job. What should I do?
To apply for one of our job opportunities, visit our section “Job Search”, select the position that corresponds most closely to your professional profile, fill in our online form, attach your CV and a motivation letter (if requested).
Who can apply for the job oppurtunities on our website?
Lidl Malta is constantly looking for motivated people who wish to join our dynamic work environment. For each work opportunity on offer, different skills and abilities are required. They are specified in each job description. We therefore advise you to read carefully the job descriptions and to apply for the opportunity that most fits your professional profile.
I'm having some issues filling out the online form. What should I do?

I sent my application. What is the next step?
I have seen your job ad on another portal, but I couldn’t find it on the site. Why?
The site jobs.lidl.com.mt is updated on a daily basis with current job offers. If you can’t find an offer you have seen on another portal, it is possible that this job search is no longer current. We therefore advise you only to take into account those offers present in our “Job Offers” section and to apply by means of the online form.
I have heard that you are opening a store in my area. How can I apply to work there?
The first thing you should do is to check if ads referring to the store you are interested in have been published in the “Job Search” section. If there are no offers for that specific area on the site, it is possible that at the moment there is no need for staff because the employees employed in the new store are partly people who already have experience in our company and partly new entries whose CVs were already present in the company website. In any case, we advise you to keep a close eye on the site because the “Job Search” section is updated on a daily basis.
I haven’t found any job offers in line with my profile. Can I send a speculative application?
At the present time, it is not possible to send us a speculative application, because all the ads in the “Job Search” area are only published as the result of actual personnel needs, and they are brought up to date daily.
What type of training is planned for the positions offered?
For every newly-employed human resource, a specific training plan is drawn up, in order to allow the new employee to be integrated and fit into his or her new department. As well as training on the job and shadow working alongside experienced colleagues, classroom training modules are also planned, and courses for the development and enhancement of specific competences necessary to carry out day-to-day activities.
